History: Custom English began 10 years ago here in the Czech Republic when I was teaching English to senior executives and managers at multinational corporations because I wanted to help them achieve the results they wanted, which was to be fluent. Most of them had already been studying English long and hard by the time we met, and having only achieved mediocre results, were still trying. In many cases English was necessary for their work, as it is today, making it a determining factor of career opportunity and growth, and importance to their lives. Whatever their reasons for studying English it was clear that levels of satisfaction were low and progress slow. To improve upon this and meet the requirements of learners I started Custom English in 2003.
Since then I have developed an individualized approach of customized-instruction toward each client using a multimedia language program, which features interesting, internationally culturally diverse course material including film, music, photography and literature, as an instrument of learning and instruction, while being applied in a comfortable environment of professionalism and friendship. Custom English enhances the educational process of learning English by making it a more enjoyable pleasant experience, which is inspired and facilitated by individual participants’ own increased interest and commitment, and which maximizes the value of time and money spent on English language training by ultimately providing clients exactly the results they want faster – fluency.
